🎬British Movietone - This years distribution of the Royal Maundy money took place at Winchester Cathedral which is celebrating it's 900th Anniversary. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh attended the Service and Her Majesty handed out the purses containing the specially minted Maundy pennies. Later in the day the Queen and Duke visited Knightswood Oak in the New Forest and there Her Majesty planted an Oak tree.

Episode 13 Mesmerised Children. One of a series of features which celebrate BBC South's 50 years of broadcasting. In 1979 Emma and Joanna Dunckley would stop and stare at the television at the same time every day, mesmerised by the opening titles of BBC South Today. 31 years later we gave the film to Joanna, to play as a surprise at her sister Emma's wedding.

She places the hat on her dog. Mrs. N leads the dog to the car, a 1928 Bentley. Mr. N. is sitting in the driving seat. Mrs. N places some goggles over the dog's head. Mrs. N waves to her husband and dog as they drive off. Various shots of Mr N. and his dog speeding down country lane. C/U of the dog in goggles and a hat (he wears them to so he doesn't get cold ears and runny eyes). The dog is a Keeshund, otherwise known as a Dutch barge dog (looks a bit like Lassie).
